Space Advantages Murphy Bed Center warrants to the original retail or commercial purchaser, the frame to be free from defects for the life of the product, as long as the product has not been altered from its original state, and has been properly installed in full compliance with the furnished installation procedures.

Five Year Limited Warranty

Counter-balancing spring system is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defect for five (5) years. It is normal for springs to soften with age and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

This Warranty applies to beds in the Murphy Panel Wall Beds and Murphy Horizontal Panel Wall Beds categories.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from State to State or Province to Province.

Manufacturing warrants each product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten years from the date of original purchase. During the first year of the period, the Manufacturer will, at its option, repair or replace products that prove to be defective. For the remaining years, repair or replacement will be performed on a prorated base, reflecting a reduction of ten percent of the value at each anniversary of the original purchase. This warranty shall not apply to defects resulting from improper or inadequate maintenance, modification or misuse of the product, or commercial use.

This warranty is exclusive and, except as otherwise required by law, no other warranty, whether written or oral, is expressed or implied. In no event shall manufacturer or its affiliates be liable for incidental or consequential damages in connection with or arising from, the design, manufacture, or use of the limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. However, any implied warranty of fitness or merchantability is limited to the first year full repair or replacement period of this written warranty.

In the event that replacement is required pursuant to this warranty the owner shall first contact the original selling dealer for adjustment. If required, owner must ship the product to manufacturer at factory or other site designated by manufacturer, freight prepaid, for inspection and possible repair or replacement. Repaired or replacement products shall be shipped to the authorized dealer freight prepaid, F.O.B. factory, for return to the owner. Owner shall bear all risk of loss or damage in transit, and should purchase appropriate insurance to protect against such loss.
